How to Spot a Fake Psychic

1.     They contact you, either online or in person, saying that they have an urgent message or warning and you must talk to them immediately. High pressure and time is of the essence type feeling. Remember what you learned in D.A.R.E. Just say no or walk away.

2.     They tell you that there has been a curse placed on you or your family and the only way to get rid of it is to pay them to lift it. This also sometimes requires you to give them something of great expense to “hold” while they work their magic. For example, a nice watch, piece of jewelry or purchase of an expensive crystal. You will never see this item again.

3.     The messages they give you inspire fear. (See number 1). This should really be the first clue. In my experience in communicating with the other side, the messages all come from a place of love and validation. Sure sometimes the message presents a challenge or a heads up, but spirit will never try to scare you into doing something that you’re not comfortable with. The same goes for any group of people or messaging that inspires fear. Trust your gut.

4.     They promise to bring back an ex-lover, get you that dream job, become pregnant or cure you of an illness. Promise being the key word. Sure there are things that you can do to improve your chances for success but to guarantee is providing you with false hope usually costing you thousands of dollars.

5.     They advertise an accuracy rating (usually 99 or 100%). First of all, are they conducting a scientific study with loads of data?…probably not. This is not the type of thing you can quantify. Plus, intuitives filter the information through our own individual perspectives so sometimes we do not get it completely right. We are not God, nor are we meant to even come close.

6.     Neon signs lol. And typically located in a very expensive, high traffic area. I mean, we don’t really make that kind of money unless you are doing something shady. Just sayin’.

I hope that you’ve found this information helpful. Like in any industry there is good and bad. There are lots of well meaning, light giving and loving professionals out there that can provide healing and guidance. Trust your own intuition in finding the right person for you.

Lots of love,

Avery
